More Juneteenth in Moore County

In Moore County we double-dipped on Juneteenth celebrations. The first, on Wednesday the 19th, was a wonderful outdoor celebration at Cardinal Lake in Pine Bluff. The second was on Thursday, June 20, at the West Southern Pines Cultural Arts Center in Southern Pines. Both days were opportunities to celebrate how far America has come while recognizing how tenuous that progress is, especially in times as tempestuous as we are experiencing now.
